Pause at open · Stays on your phone

NoScroll

Pause before you open. Count the wins, not the hours.

When you’re about to open Douyin, Xiaohongshu, or Reels, get a pause you can’t shrug off. Choose return, and that restraint is counted—not another anxious screen-time rank.

How it works

Don’t wait until you’ve scrolled—pause at the tap

System limits usually show up when willpower is already low, and “Ignore” is one tap away. NoScroll moves the reminder to the moment you open the app: pause first, then go back or continue.

Pick the apps that pull you in

Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Reels—whatever you open on autopilot at night.

Meet a pause before the feed

Opening those apps shows a pause screen first. Return or continue—your choice in the moment.

Keep the wins you earn

Return counts as an avoided open; Focus adds time you actually settled in. Home shows just those two numbers.

Features

One main habit. Extra tools when you need them.

The heart is the pause before open. Focus, sleep, and detox are there when you want them—without turning the product into a cluttered blocker suite.

Core

Intentional open

Pause before you open. Return is a win; continue brings another reminder later, so “just a bit more” isn’t free.

Advanced

Focus

Block distracting apps during work blocks, and log focus time you won back—not a shame ranking.

Advanced

Sleep schedule

Limits on at bedtime, off at wake—including overnight. Optional, and never the main story on home.

Advanced

Digital detox

Allowlist-only mode for stricter days. Day to day, intentional open stays the main path.

Progress

How often you stopped—not how long you ranked

We don’t lead with “how long you scrolled today.” You’ll see how many impulses you interrupted, and how long you focused.

Avoided opens

Times you chose Return on the pause screen—proof you broke an autopilot open.

Focus time

Time from Focus sessions. Two numbers on home; a week of trend on stats.

FAQ

Things people usually ask first

How we handle privacy, what permissions mean, and what we can’t do. Full details are in the footer policies.

Is my data uploaded to the cloud?

Open records and settings stay on your phone by default. We don’t collect what you watched in your feeds.

How is this different from Screen Time?

System limits often appear after you’ve already been scrolling. NoScroll interrupts at open, and treats Return as your own progress.

Can you prevent uninstall on iPhone?

No—and we won’t pretend otherwise. Parental features are in-app locks and biometrics.

What if I tap Continue?

You can enter for a while; the pause returns later (about 15 minutes minimum on iOS), so “just a bit more” doesn’t run forever.
